Tookoo at Baybeats

It's been really nice catching up with the Tookoo boys in Singapore. They never fail to amaze me with their hospitality. What's more amazing though, is that our sporadic MSN talks from six months ago about touring together around south east Asia have finally come to fruition.

The countless weeks of contacting every promoter and their mothers across the region has paid off. Even though they're unable to join us for the real fun in Bangkok, at least we're abe to play some shows together in Malaysia and Singapore.

They played a really rocking set at Baybeats, doing a much better job of grabbing the attention of the scenesters than us. I hadn't seen them since the Warehouse show from a couple of years ago, and it was a delight to see how much they've matured as musicians and performers.

I can't wait to see them again in KL.
