Kuala Lumpur Day 1 part II

We met up with Tookoo, who had spent a couple of dreadfully boring nights in Melaka whilst we were in Bangkok.

The plan had been to catch a couple of cabs from Chinatown to KLCC to check out the Petronas Towers, but every taxi driver we stopped decided to tarnish Malaysia's face of tourism by declaring cut-throat cab fares instead of going by the meter.

So in the end we walked over to the nearest subway station and got a first hand experience of KL's rush hour.

Walking is more fun anyway. I loved the one cab right I had in Japan, but walking was so much more fun. It's easier to take in everything around you.
