A hotel with a view

It's been pretty amazing staying at the Shibuya Excel. Situated right by Shibuya station, the super convenient location has allowed us to get around pretty easily on foot, as well as offering an unobstructed view of the famous intersection.

The only drag about being on tour is that you always end up spending half the day at the venue, followed by a late night at the bars, which doesn't allow one to get much of a sense of everyday life for the typical local.

A pretty typical Japanese business hotel. I stayed in one that looked exactly the same in Fukuoka, but the only view was of the wall on the building next door.
